About Stacksmesh

An engineering partner. Not a sales funnel.

We're a small, senior-only team. We do the audit, we do the build, we do the handover. The people writing your code are the people you talk to.

Why we exist

The 80% that doesn't ship itself.

In 2023 we watched a wave of AI builders ship the first version of any product idea in a weekend. Base44, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Bubble — the prototype-to-something-clickable problem went from a month to an afternoon.

The harder problem stayed exactly where it was. The next 80% of shipping — real auth at scale, real payments, real observability, compliance, ownership of the keys and the bill — is still engineering work, and the platforms aren't built for it.

We started Stacksmesh to do that work. Take the prototype that proved there was a product. Migrate it onto infrastructure the team actually owns. Hand over a codebase someone else could pick up. Leave.

We genuinely build things you can take and run with. The mark of a good engagement is that you don't need us again — and if you do, it's because you chose to, not because you're stuck.

How we operate

Six principles. All non-negotiable.

None of these are aspirational. They're the rules we'll fire ourselves from a project to keep.

01

Senior-only on the work

Senior engineers on every engagement. If two seniors aren't on a call, it's not Stacksmesh.

02

Fixed scope, fixed price

Every engagement is line-item quoted. Hourly is how scope creeps — we'd rather lose money on a project than be incentivized to slow down.

03

You own everything

Code in your repo. Cloud in your accounts. Keys in your secrets manager. Documentation written so your next engineer can ship on day one.

04

Audit before opinion

We don't pitch architecture before we've seen your prototype. The $499 audit exists so we earn the right to recommend anything at all.

05

Weekly demos, weekly invoices

You see the work running every week. You're billed for the week you saw. If we're behind, you find out the same week we do.

06

We will tell you no

If your scope is wrong, your timeline is wrong, or you'd be better off with another firm — we'll say so. Comfort isn't the same as honesty.

The team

Three leaders. Thirteen builders. One team.

We deliberately stay small. Three people lead the work; thirteen more actually do it. The senior team that quotes the work ships it.
