Paid audit · $499 · 5 business days

A $499 audit before we touch your code.

A 60-minute technical deep-dive, a written audit, a migration plan, and a fixed line-item quote — delivered in five business days. Yours regardless of what you do next.

What you get

Four deliverables. All four, every audit.

The audit is a productized service — same shape, same depth, every time. No "depending on scope," no add-ons.

60-minute technical call

Two senior engineers, deep on your stack. Architecture, security, infra choices, integrations. Prepared, not presenting.

Written audit PDF

Findings document covering every system in your prototype. What's working, what's risky, what's billed too much, what's lock-in.

Migration plan

Concrete next steps with phases, dependencies, and risk callouts. Built so you could hire someone else and still ship.

Fixed line-item quote

If we're the right fit, a per-line-item quote good for 30 days. No hourly. No estimate ranges. One number per deliverable.

How the audit works

Three steps. Five days.

From payment to deliverable, the audit is a five-business-day process. No pre-call sales sequence. No discovery-of-the-discovery.

    Audit call

    60 min · video

Two senior engineers on the call. Screen-share through your platform, your data model, your integrations. We ask the hard questions about cost, security, lock-in, and where you'll hit the ceiling. Recorded if you want it.

  3. 03

    Written deliverable

    Within 5 business days

PDF audit, migration plan, and a fixed line-item quote. Reviewed by two engineers before it's sent. You receive everything in one email, plain text + attachments — no client portal, no chase.

Why $499 (and not free)

We're not a free audit. On purpose.

The honest version of "why this isn't free." Three reasons, no marketing spin.

Senior team time, not interns

Two senior engineers, 60 minutes live + several hours of prep + write-up. Real labor costs real money — even when it's productized.

~$2,000 of senior time, productized at $499

Not a free lead funnel

The $499 price is intentional — it ensures the people we spend senior engineering time with are serious about migrating. That focus makes the audit better for everyone who books it.

We work better with serious clients

You keep the audit. Always.

Take the PDF to any other firm — or your in-house team. The audit is yours. If you hire us, the $499 is credited toward the project. If you don't, the audit still pays for itself.

Credited toward project if you proceed
Two tiers. No upsells.

Pick the depth you need. Both are fixed price.

One-time. Take it home, hire us or don't.

Common questions

Honest answers. No spin.

The six questions we get most often about the audit. If yours isn't here, email us at hello@stacksmesh.com.

You're routed to a Calendly with our two-engineer audit team. Book any open slot within the next two weeks. You'll also receive a short prep questionnaire — repo or platform URL, integrations, and a sentence on what's pushing you to move. That's the whole pre-call ceremony.
Then you don't. The audit is yours regardless. The PDF, the migration plan, and the quote are all written so any competent engineering team could execute against them. We genuinely don't follow up with a sales sequence — if you want to come back later, you know where we are.
Yes — send yours over and we'll have it signed within a business day. We default to mutual NDAs and we don't reuse anyone's strategy across clients. If you don't have one, we have a clean template we'll send.
Yes, fully. If we sign a project contract within 90 days of the audit, the $499 is credited as a line item on the first invoice. So the audit is effectively free for clients who go on to hire us.
Usually within one week. If you pay today, you're typically on a call with our audit team within 3–5 business days, and you have the written deliverable five business days after that. Around two weeks end-to-end from "I'm interested" to "I have a plan."
Base44, Lovable, Bolt, Bubble, Replit, Softr and Wix Vibe — for prototypes ranging from internal tools to agentic AI in production. We also audit teams already partway through DIY migrations and stuck on infrastructure choices, secrets management, or observability.

Ready for the audit?

Five business days. Sixty minutes on a call. One PDF you keep regardless. No sales sequence after — promise.
